                    5.  Here is a very nice summary of the history of the Jonathan Clegg and Ellen
                         Walmsley family, .   Jonathan was brother of Henry Clegg, Jr. son of  Henry Clegg, Sr.
                         and early converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and
                         among the first to be baptized in England.  In fact, Henry Clegg, Sr. is reported
                         to have come in second in  the race to the  River Ribble in Preston, England in hopes
                         of being  the first to be baptized in the British Isles.  George D. Watt won the race;
                         Henry second then several others.  Jonathan and his wife Ellen were baptized later,  Jonathan
                         on 26 September 1837. [Summary referenced above on the FindAgrave page was written by
                         Melodee Clegg, author of the more complete works from which this was taken
                         "Worthy of the Name" which can be found at Clegghistory.org ]   (Posted  26 March 2012)
